Felicia's love for children connected her with Make-A-Wish and the wonderful service it provides by granting wishes to children who are struggling with life-threatening illnesses. Felicia sponsors three wish children: Isabelle, Caroline, and Abby and has been involved with Make-A-Wish since 2004. Felicia also encourages others to support Make-A-Wish by hosting Dishes for Wishes each year at Felicia Suzanne's with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-South. Dishes for Wishes celebrates downtown Memphis' finest chefs' latest culinary creations, features a one-of-a-kind live auction, and has a special cupcake factory run by the Three Cupcakes: Isabelle, Caroline, and Abby. For more information about the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-South, please visit www.midsouth.wish.org.

Felicia's mission to help children has recently led her to a new organization called Green Hope Foundation. Green Hope Foundation is a non-profit organization established to raise educational awareness of children's environmental health issues while also benefiting pediatric cancer research. Felicia is a member of the Board of Directors and hosted the Green Hope Foundation's launch party in April 2009 at the restaurant. For more information about the Green Hope Foundation, please visit http://thegreenhopefoundation.org
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is another cause Felicia strongly supports. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is unlike any other pediatric treatment and research facility. With research and patient care under one roof, St. Jude is where some of today's most gifted researchers are able to do science more quickly. St. Jude is a place where many doctors send some of their sickest patients and toughest cases. And all patients accepted for treatment at St. Jude are treated without regard to the family's ability to pay.
Felicia's commitment to children's charities also extends to Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center. Le Bonheur is a leader in pediatric clinical care and research and is the region's premier teaching hospital for future pediatricians, pediatric surgical specialists and clinicians.
Many of the ingredients used in the dishes at Felicia Suzanne's come from the Memphis Farmers Market located at Central Station on South Front Street at G.E. Patterson in the Historic South Main District of downtown Memphis. Felicia shops the farmers market every Saturday morning from mid-April through October to ensure that she' uses only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients from local farmers. We love our farmers! Please visit www.memphisfarmersmarket.org for more information about the farmers market.
Finally, Felicia's love for food connects her with the Mid-South Food Bank. Felicia believes that no one should ever have to go hungry, and the Mid-South Food Bank does a wonderful job of fighting hunger by efficiently collecting and distributing wholesome food while educating the community about the hunger problem and advocating on behalf of hungry people in the Mid-South. The Mid-South Food Bank serves 316 charitable feeding programs in 31 Mid-South counties. For more information about the Mid-South Food Bank, please visit www.midsouthfoodbank.org
